DUBLIN

Wado Juku is an traditional style of karate from Japan founded by its Sensei Yoshihiko Iwasaki on the original principles of Wado style.

As the name Wado suggests, the way of harmony or peace, the students train in full respect of the dojo policies and with no intent to offend.

Wado has many techniques that go from the simplest to the most complicated combinations and includes individual training (katas) or in pairs (kihon kumite, kumite kata, knife defence).

This style contains many elements of Ju-Jutsu that entered in the Wado ryu style thanks to its founder Grand Master Hinorori Otsuka.

Warm-up and stretching are fundamental and are necessary in order to achieve great results and a high standard performance.

Good part of the lesson is also dedicated to the improvement of your muscles and posture.

Bo-Jutsu is the Japanese art that consists in using a stick for self-defence and counter-attack with simple and quick moves.

Iai-do courses are held in Dublin city center on Thursdays. Here you can practice the old art of the Muso-Ryu.
